Writers block? This too, SHALL PASS
Musings from a spinning ball named "Earth."
Forgive me friends! For the past week I’ve had feline-tongue-snatching syndrome (aka. writers block). Like most of us, I had the will to write—I wanted to fill a page until words overfill into the room and I’d cast my line and find my Moby—But the words didn’t come.
No fretting. This too shall pass! Next week is a new week; a new chance to be reborn! Meet me again next week, friends, and I’ll have something great for you!
Before you head out, what do you do to handle writers block? Id love to learn from you.
Until we meet again,
Brandon

I watch a bunch of movies and read a lot. Then I just try to write, even if I come up with nothing good, it all comes back to me at one point.
When i get writer's block, i leave the text for a short time (an hour or more), start painting or drawing sth, even if they're just chicken scratches, and then get back to writing, even if it's just a paragraph (when i was writing my MA thesis in 2017, there were times when i experienced writer's block. Trust me, even if you say you're not a perfectionist, when you're writing, you may try to write like one).
