When i get writer's block, i leave the text for a short time (an hour or more), start painting or drawing sth, even if they're just chicken scratches, and then get back to writing, even if it's just a paragraph (when i was writing my MA thesis in 2017, there were times when i experienced writer's block. Trust me, even if you say you're not a perfectionist, when you're writing, you may try to write like one).
I write every day but much of what I write is often not worth finishing. It’s not the same as writer’s block but it is unnerving. Love the Parrish image.
Parrish is awesome! Both heavenly and eye catching
Maybe I should try to do that more: push myself to write even when it feels not worth finishing. What do you normally do with the stuff not worth finishing?
I watch a bunch of movies and read a lot. Then I just try to write, even if I come up with nothing good, it all comes back to me at one point.
That's sounds like a good idea! Thinking back, I don't think I've been watching much good art like movies. That might be a reason for my block
And especially old movies (that make you feel good)

Heck yeah, I'll give it a try! I just got to bust out the sketchbook for the first time in 2 years. Thanks Negar!
Great to hear that. Go for it!
And kindly let me know if it worked for you😉
It actually helped out a lot. It was a good tip!
Great to hear that.
I'll report back to ya 🫡

Cannibalize it—the whole may not hang but a line might be useful
Like a rebirth..Interesting
Sort of saving the baby and the bath water
I walk a lot to help boost my mood, but I hadn't thought of using it to break the block. Thanks Bethel! I'll be using it 😁
